Manchester United will face stiff opposition from Juventus for emerging Ghanaian striker Richmond Boakye.
The 18-year-old Genoa striker is currently on loan at Sassuolo and has impressed in the Italian Serie B with six goals in 12 games, including a brace against Modena last weekend.
Genoa president Enrico Preziosi claimed there is interest in the teenage forward from Sir Alex Ferguson’s side as well as another European club – believed by the Italian Press to be the Turin giants.
“United have already asked me because he is very strong,” Preziosi said. “I only know that two great clubs are interested but I cannot go further.”
