Bakus Entertainment, a newly outdoored label based in the USA with its subsidiary in Ghana, has introduced a new music group ‘Akyerekyerefo’, literally meaning teachers, onto Ghana’s hip life scene.
The group is made up of two professionally trained teachers, ‘Okyerekyereni’ Makorni (Richard Nartey) and ‘Okyerekyereni’ Sparkles (Ranford Saltson).
‘Akyerekyerefo’ has a unique style and its first single titled ‘I No Dey Mind’, featuring Quata, is a great tune.
Reports said ‘Akyerekyerefo’ was under the management of Bakus Entertainment and the company had come up with a lot of marketing and promotional strategies that would put the artistes on the world map.
Bakus Entertainment is owned by Ernest Annoh-Dompreh who runs Bakus Group of Companies in the USA.
He has plans of making both the company and its artistes very established in the country.
